FPL defensive contributions (DEFCON) tracker
Defenders earn 2 points for 10 combined clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles in a match; midfielders and forwards need 12, with ball recoveries counting too. Most trackers tell you who has hit the threshold. This one also tells you who is likely to— a forecast from each player’s defensive work-rate and minutes, computed before the gameweek starts. During matches, the live count column fills in as the actions happen.

Where the forecast comes from
The chance of hitting the threshold is modelled from a player’s defensive actions per 90 — blended across this season and last — and their expected minutes. It is the same defensive-contribution term used inside the captain projection, so the two pages always agree. One honest note: unlike the rest of this site, this forecast comes from start-rates and player data, not from match prices — the market does not price tackles.
